Unveiled to the firearms world at the Shot Show in 2017, the Hudson H9 has made quite an impression on the firearms industry with its unique performance, styling and features.

After three years of development, the Hudson H9 holds multiple patented features resulting from a design aiming to combine the specificities of a 1911 style pistol with those of a modern handgun.

The most remarkable point is the location of the rod and the recoil spring, just in front of the trigger guard. Its positioning allows the barrel to sit at an extremely low bore axis, which alters the recoil effect by reducing the barrel lift effect.
